Former CSR boss appointed to PAGCOR Board of Directors

Former Vice-President of the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility Group, James Patrick Bondoc, has been nominated to the Board of Directors by PAGCOR

Bondoc will take over the Philippine Gaming Regulator (PAGCOR) board from the recently deceased Reynaldo E. Concordia, to serve until the end of his term on 30 June 2022. He will take the oath of office in the Malacanang Palace, but he has already been sworn in, so he can begin performing his responsibilities right now.

Bondoc believes that his new role would enable him to better assist PAGCOR management’s ongoing plans and efforts.

“Former Director Concordia used to actively take part in PAGCOR’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs,” he said. “He would go even to remote places to ensure that PAGCOR’s socio-civic initiatives would reach those who need them most. I will offer my services in memory of him and to serve our Chairman’s best intentions.

“Also, being in this new position will allow me to make policy adjustments that will further enhance PAGCOR’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and hopefully, the agency’s revenue generation capacity amidst the ongoing pandemic,” he said.

Previously, Bondoc served as PAGCOR’s Assistant Vice President of Entertainment from 2016 to 2017, and now he leads PAGCOR’s?CSR Group.
