On the 16th of this month, the Ministry of Finance and Economics of Cambodia held a meeting with the Supreme Advisory Council to solicit opinions from members of the Supreme Advisory Council on the content of the draft ‘New Gaming Law’.

The minister of finance and finance serves as the chairman, a state secretary of the Ministry of the Interior serves as the vice-chairman, and other relevant government officials are members.

According to the Cambodian Ministry of Finance and Economics report, as of March 31, 2019, Cambodian officials issued a total of 169 casino licenses, 91 of which are located in Sihanoukville.
